Bridgeport Insulated Wire stocks a wide variety of products, all of which are manufactured to meet customers rigid specifications

Included in the wide list of products manufactured by Bridgeport are round wire sizes #28 through #44 AWG enameled with many of the insulations listed in NEMA MW-1000 wire specifications. Other products include Litzendraht, Gripeze, Bifilar and other numbers of Parallel Bonded wire, several combinations of base coat and bondable topcoats, triple and quadruple insulations thicknesses; bare, plated, and tinned copper conductors, single end, stranded, bobbin wound in multiple end; enameled resistance wire, and stranded resistance wire; stranded enameled copper wire as large as #12 AWG

All of the above can be further insulated with single and double wraps of textile fibers including Glass, Daglas, Nomex, Nylon Cellulose Acetate, and Kevlar.

Bridgeport Insulated Wire's specially designed equipment textile serves with complete uniformity. Our complete line of machinary is designed and built specifically for the manufacture of fine wire by our own staff of engineers in accordance with ongoing research development programs.

Our facilites inclued the following:
Versatile twisting machinary for the stranding of both fine and Litzendraht wire.
Enameling machinary for the manufacture of quality fine wire.
Wiredrawing facilities for the manufacture of fine wire.
Tinning and Stranding machinary especially designed for the manufacture of small guage stranded wire.

Bridgeport Insulated Wire serves a large number of manufacturers in the electrical, aircraft, instrument, television, and other alllied industries. Manufacturers of electrical components such as transformers, solenoids, small frictional motors, syncros, relays, and other devices rely on Bridgeport Insulated Wire for the special quality they require in the wire they use in their products.

Tin Stranding
Bridgeport Wire manufactures standard 7 and 19 strand constructions of various guage bare and tin coated wires. Virtually any customer specification stating number of strands, twist per foot and lay direction can be manufactured. Our sales department is always available for consultation regarding the appropriate construction for any application. Stranded constructions 10 AWG and finer are available upon request. Bridgeport Insulated Wire manufactures its own Hot Dipped Tin as well as purchased Electroplated Tin for Single End and twisted constructions.

Bobbin Winding
As part of our ongoing effort to meet our customers ever changing needs, the Bridgeport Insulated Wire Company has added Bobbin Winding to its list of speciality applications. Single Strand, Parallel, and twisted constructions are manufactured on 16 and 24 carrier bobbins to customer specifications.
